Assembly Production Section Manager

職務說明

As a Assembly Production Section Manager at MTB, you will be responsible for managing team members (both direct and eventual reports), planning and deciding production priorities/ strategies. In this role some of the tasks that need to carried out include planning resources (ppl, machines, logistics) based on SOS (Statement of Supply), planning and implementing continuous improvement activities, establishing and communicating performance goals for team members and ensuring training and cross-training goals are met. Other responsibilities include managing on-shift resources, maintaining safety and quality standards in the production line. You will be responsible for providing leadership, directional and overall management of the specialized area (Die attach, Wire bond, Encapsulation) as well as work together with counterparts from various departments to achieve Site initiatives and Global Assembly initiatives.

 Plan and Implement Production Priorities and Strategies:

  • Evaluating production data (capacity, critical assumptions, tool utilization, consumable usage, headcount requirements)
  • Gathering input from area planner, Engineering, and workstation owner
  • Using area metrics to identify opportunities to increase productivity
  • Developing a plan to cover capacity requirements
  • Communicating and delegating and/or implementing the plan in partnership with appropriate stakeholders
  • Following up to ensure the plan was implemented

     

    Manage On-Shift Production Resources:

  • Review with shift supervisors on production needs and issues
  • Evaluating potential impact to production of any scheduled facilities work
  • Communicating workstation priorities to supervisors
  • Evaluating opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Overseeing supervisor management of overtime staffing
  • Reviewing and coordinating time off and vacation schedules for direct and eventual reports
  • Monitor and ensure line discipline/compliance

     

    Manage Team Members (Direct and Eventual Reports):

  • Establish and communicate performance goals for team members
  • Monitor performance of supervisors, process coordinators and provide ongoing performance feedback, mentoring, and career guidance
  • Review team member training needs (using TNA - Training needs Analysis)
  • Ensure training and cross-training goals are met for team members
  • Develop team members for leadership positions
  • Resolving conflicts between individuals when needed
  • Partnering with appropriate stakeholder to manage team member on leaves of absence/temporary job assignments

     

    Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment:

  • Ensure all established EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety, Security) policies, requirements and procedures are met
  • Reacting to safety incidents and alarms by ensuring proper resources are notified
  • Providing evacuation, mustering, and re-entry assistance, training, feedback, and evaluation during drills
  • Communicating issues and actions taken to staff to reinforce safety expectations
  • Monitoring and enforcing safety protocols, material handling and work activitie

 

Requirement:

·  Bachelors degree from a recognized university

·  Has minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations (preferably in Assembly Manufacturing environment)

·  Proficient in MS Office and manufacturing systems

·  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

·  Good team player
